Andy's WhatsApp

So to explain, if you have chatted with Andy via WhatsApp then you may have shared some lovely pictures, voice notes, videos etc. Like us, these are now very important to you and we want to make sure you have them for life.

WhatsApp does this thing to save space that while you can still access the pics/voice notes/videos from your side that you sent to Andy, the stuff he sent you goes blurry and you won’t be able to access it after a few months! 

 

This also can be the case if you have to get a new phone! Don’t worry, what's great is Andy had his phone for like 6 years and so has all that good stuff stored on his phone :)

So how do we fix this and save all the important stuff?

Well, here are the steps:

​

1. You fill out this Google form

2. I (Nicko) will pop onto Andy’s phone (the family still have it and top it up to keep WhatsApp working) and click into your conversation with him (ensuring not to look at any messages).

3. We click download conversation to his phone.

4. We will then upload that big file to his Google Drive and send you a link to download it.

5. We’ll also pop you a text to notify you.

6. After 48hrs or if you respond saying you’ve got it then we delete the file.

Then presto, you should have all the good stuff for life :)
